There are many seniors in this community that simply can't afford in home care. Some of these folks are Veterans. In most cases in order to quality for any insurance reimbursement one must stay in assisted living/nursing home for some time. The money will be used directly to provide in home care for our seniors that can't otherwise afford it.I have spoken to some licensed care givers. On average a week of in home care would cost around $400-$500. If we all throw in $20.00 that would provide many hours of needed care for elderly members of the community.I recently have come to know several members of this community that need this type of support.
