simple community improvement for Seniors in need

There are  many seniors in this community that simply can't afford in home care. Some of these folks are Veterans. In most cases in order to quality for any insurance reimbursement one must stay in assisted living/nursing home for some time.  The money will be used directly to provide in home care for our seniors that can't otherwise afford it.

We have spoken to some licensed care givers. On average a week of in home care would cost around $400-$500.
If we all throw in $20.00 that would provide many hours of needed care for elderly members of the community.

We recently have come to know several members of this community that need this type of support.

 Our newest initiative "Operation Park Pass" has been implemented in an effort to supply park passes for our senior citizens. With the onset of Covid and the fact that many of our elderly community members have been living in isolation, we thought it would be a wonderful gesture to cover the $20.00 expense of their park pass this season.
So many of these people have been assets to our community. They have been coaches, teachers, members of our workforce, community volunteers, etc.

Our goal is to provide a minimum of 300 park passes for the 2021 season. We will collect the funds and pre-pay for the passes at Park and Rec.
